Terms of Business
CIA Insurance Services is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 for the use of your personal data in assessing you for insurance cover. Your rights are protected by the Act and as part of this if you proceed to a full quotation with us you will be asked to confirm your agreement to use your data for marketing purposes.

The products we offer
We offer products from a range of insurers for motor, motorcycle, van, commercial property, travel and household insurance. You may ask us for a list of insurers that we offer insurance cover from.
Legal Expenses Insurance is provided by CIA Claims Club. Personal Accident Insurance is provided by New Hampshire Insurance Company Limited. Breakdown Cover is provided by Europe Assist,
The service we provide
We will advise and make a recommendation for you after we have taken details of and assessed your needs. Our recommendation will normally be on the basis of the lowest premium for the cover you need. We will tell you if we recommend a policy for other reasons.
How you can complain
By writing to the General Manager, CIA Insurance Services, Inwoods House, Ashlawn Road, Rugby CV22 5QF.
If we cannot resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). If you wish to complain, you will be given full details of our complaints procedure.
Your right to compensation
We are covered by the Financial Service Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of insurance cover and the circumstances of the claim. Most insurance contracts are covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements can be obtained from the FSCS.
Payment for our services
You will be charged a fee for our services when your policy commences, at renewal, and when mid term adjustments are made, including the replacement of lost certificates. Fees are also charged for credit arrangements and early cancellations after the 14 day cooling off period. You will receive a Statement of Price which will tell you about the fees that relate to any particular insurance policy. This can also be printed by you when you accept our quotation on line
